Turn your idea into a project
You have a great idea to change the daily life of the people of Moka? Take part in our call for proposals and let’s bring our city to life together!
The Moka’mwad team can help you make it happen through a partnership. Your project must meet an express need and a specific objective while using a practical method with concrete actions to enable the team to consider its feasibility.
In other words, it must be...
- Advance the general interest of the people of Moka
- Have running costs that do not exceed the initial investment
- Implemented in places other than public areas
- Address at least one of Moka’mwad’s themes
From location to resources, leave nothing to chance in order to meet the identified need.
Be logistically and financially realistic!
- Be collectively implemented to rally and unite the people of Moka
- Rely on local partners and support
If things are still not clear to you
Here are a few questions to help you get your thinking cap on. Ask yourself about:
- the nature of your project;
- its objective; and
- where you want to implement it.
Once you have addressed these three questions, let us take the next step together:
- How much will it cost?
- How to raise the necessary funds?
- How to make it happen?
Getting there? Well done – Zoli travay.
There’s a great adventure ahead!

1# Moris, get set, plog!
For World Cleanup Day 2021, Decathlon’s Leader Digital Communication, Elisa Colimalay and her team had the idea to organise monthly plogging sessions in Moka. The concept is simple: pick up trash while running. You got it? Joggers head out for a 3.5km run while hunting for garbage! The result: eighty 100-litre rubbish bags were collected for the first edition.
This initiative is supported by the Moka’mwad collective and Keep The Pace's volunteers-guides-partners.

Happy Neighbours’ Day!
After moving to Courchamps three years ago, Johanna wanted to forge links with her neighbours, whom she affectionately calls the “Courchampions”.
2# Happy Neighbours’ Day!
After moving to Courchamps three years ago, Johanna wanted to forge links with her neighbours, whom she affectionately calls the “Courchampions”. She then became one of the first ambassadors of the Moka Neighbours’ Day! The collective shared her vision and naturally joined the project.
During the first three memorable editions, this annual event has gathered seven neighbourhoods and more than 800 participants!
#1 Moris, get set, plog!
Get it?
