The goal of the day is to learn to slow down.
Tai Chi is an ancient practice derived from traditional Chinese medicine. It is inspired by martial arts and consists of a set of fluid, circular movements that are performed slowly and with precision.
Let your hands guide your movements while capturing and channelling your energy to bring your body back into balance. And now, breathe in and out – breathing is also part of this art! It must be slow, deep and regular to allow you to recharge your batteries.
You will have probably realised that it incorporates an inner approach. Tai Chi frees your energy, improves your flexibility and helps you regain focus for better awareness.
The very long list of benefits of Tai Chi also includes a reduced risk of falling and improved balance, a decrease in blood pressure and a lower risk of cardiovascular disease. It also helps you sleep better, among other things.
