Can’t make up your mind between fitness, cardio training and martial arts? You don’t have to choose! Body Kombat gives you all of this in a single workout.

Ika De Lacroix is a certified Les Mills coach who has taken to the Telfair Amphitheatre since July 2021. She has teamed up with Moka’mwad to offer complimentary Body Kombat classes. Yes, you got it right: it’s free of charge!

These fitness sessions combine cardio training with boxing, kickboxing, karate, taekwondo and even Muay Thai moves. However, you don’t have to worry about getting injured with this contactless workout that requires no equipment.

To warm you up, you will be introduced to workouts to the beat of 10 new hits every quarter. For 55 minutes, you will alternate between warm-up, combat training, intensive cardio workout and cooling down. You will end the session with strength training exercises on the floor and stretching. This class works the whole body to develop your endurance and physical strength.

These workouts will help you build speed, strength and agility. No wonder you will finish each session ready to conquer the world!

There is no age limit, prerequisite level or registration required. No excuses!

See you at the Amphitheatre every Thursday from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
